Pegasus HT-C

High-Throughput Gas Chromatography with Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometer

The Pegasus® HT-C system combines GC-TOFMS technology with advanced ChromaTOF® software to provide an unparalleled increase in laboratory productivity. Full-mass range spectral acquisition rates of up to 500 spectra/second allow for significant reduction in chromatographic analysis time. Dynamic Signal Tracking (DST) further enhances Pegasus
HT-C's dynamic range, spectral integrity, and overall system robustness.

Exclusive automated data processing capabilities minimize tedious manual manipulations and enhances data quality. Completely automated qualitative sample characterization, and quantitative analysis, and/or inter-sample measurements can be completed in a fraction of the time required by manually-oriented processing systems.

The Pegasus HT-C also offers sophisticated data mining algorithms that automatically detect and extract previously unobserved analytes buried beneath sample matrices or other interfering analytes.

Highlights

True Signal Deconvolution®

The TIC spectrum of Linalool (Peak 6) is automatically deconvoluted from five other coeluting peaks in this thermal desorption analysis of commercial liquid hand soap. The deconvoluted spectrum (B) is then compared against the NIST library (C) to identify spectral match and determine accurate compound identification. No other GC-MS software delivers the power of True Signal Deconvolution and Automated Peak Find within a seamless software package. True Signal Deconvolution
